142nd Field Artillery Brigade to Conduct Live Fire Exercise
~Appreciation day for civic leaders and employers of Guardsmen
WHO: Soldiers of the 142nd Field Artillery Brigade
WHAT: Will conduct a Live Fire Exercise (LFX) with the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS), 155mm Cannon Artillery and 217th Brigade Support Battalion systems with Soldiers in action for civic leaders, employers of Guardsmen, and elected leaders from Arkansas.
WHEN: Saturday, 02 March 2019; 09:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: Fort Chaffee Joint Maneuver Training Center
WHY: The event will be conducted to show our appreciation for the support of our civic leaders, employers, and elected leaders. The live fire will display the knowledge, skills and abilities of the Soldiers within the 142nd Field Artillery Brigade as well as the equipment used by National Guardsmen.
Media representatives planning on attending the event should RSVP no later than 27 February, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in order to ensure transportation and coordination with media liaison to the site. You may RSVP by contacting the point of contact listed above. A press kit will be available upon arrival. An Indemnification Agreement and Liability Waiver must be signed prior to departure from the front gate.
