Arkansas National Guard to hold Annual Memorial Service 
~ Memorial service to honor the memory Guard members and militia predecessors killed in wars dating back to the War of 1812.

WHO:            The Arkansas National Guard 
WHAT:          The Arkansas National Guard will hold its annual memorial service for Arkansas Guard members killed in action to honor the memory of 20 Arkansans killed during Operation Iraqi Freedom, as well as Guard members and militia predecessors killed in wars dating back to the War of 1812.
WHEN:          Sunday, May 5, 2019, 9:00 a.m.
MEDIA MUST RSVP NO LATER THAN 3 P.M. FRIDAY, MAY 3, 2019 AND ARRIVE AT THE MAIN GATE OF CAMP ROBINSON MANEUVER TRAINING CENTER NO LATER THAN 8:30 A.M., SUNDAY, MAY 5, 2019, FOR AN ESCORT TO THE EVENT. RSVP DIRECTLY VIA E-MAIL TO

WHERE:       
The event will take place at the Killed in Action Memorial located on the grounds of the Armstrong Chapel on the post. 
WHY: The annual ceremony is held to honor the sacrifice of the brave Soldiers who died while serving their state and nation in conflicts both domestically and abroad.
